I knew I had gained weight over the holidays but not that much! In my mind it was one last hurrah for sweets, treats, beer and all the good stuff. My 2015 resolution aka: diet was starting Monday Jan 5th! How can you start a diet or weight loss program on Jan 1st, there's football and a lot of unhealthy eating!
That's the goal and a pretty easy one, I've done this before when I was focused but this time will be different! If you break it down that's 10 lbs per month or 2.5 per week. The first couple weeks are easy to drop the weight but hard to break free of the sugar and wheat addictions!
I've owned a Magic Bullet NutriBullet for a couple years and I can't tell you how much I love it!
I've done a NutriBullet Cleanse for 14 days and 21 days consecutive! I averaged losing over a pound a day and never felt better. Four to five Nutriblasts per day and the inches went away and the weight fell off without any need for strenuous exercise. I walked every day or two!
This year I'm combining three major healthy weight loss plan into a 12 week system.
The first week or two is breaking the sugar and wheat addictions while increasing proteins and raw whole foods into my diet.
I will start my day with a handful of spinach and 2-3 eggs, within 30 minutes of waking and after I drink 16 oz of ice cold water (I'll explain more in other posts)
Lunch will be a Nutribullet Nutriblast to start cleansing my system and the fruit mixed with vegetables will help ween me away from sugar but still have something sweet.
Dinner will be a sensible Paleo meal. 6oz of protein with raw cooked vegetables and salad.
Later evening I'll have to break my snacking habits but I'll do that with herbal teas and supplements.
Or to a more strict version of the Paleo DietEpi-paleo Rx: The Prescription for Disease Reversal and Optimal Health
Both of these require focused mindset and determination.
I'll cover more in the weeks to come but both of these are very liberating and the results are amazing, you'll never feel better but it is strange not eating certain foods you are used to!
Although I'm overweight, I'm in great health and isn't longevity and living to 100 what health is all about!
I'm tired of the media and people who think weight loss and diet has to do with calories in and calories out!
How many people start exercising this time of year and get sore. Add to that eating less and the wrong foods and they quit until next year!
I'm talking about a lifestyle change!
Learning how to fuel your body and mind properly and live a long and healthy life!
